For 15 years she served as the Consumer Affairs Consultant for Roche Bros. and Sudbury Farms Supermarkets where she presented innovative community relations and cooking programs on behalf of the company. Before that, she taught cooking at "Ellie's Gourmet Gallery", her home based cooking school, as well as at several adult education programs.
